This tough and balanced combo weighs a feather-light 9.4 ounces. The weight is minimized by using carbon-graphite for the reel’s frame, and IM6 carbon for the one-piece rod. The reel and rod are strong and durable, and are rated for 2-8 pound line.
The reel has a cold-forged aluminum spool, and a graphite body and rotor. The mainshaft is supported by 4 regular ball bearings, plus one clutch bearing (4+1). The main gear is diecast and the pinion gear is machined brass. The handle is easily moved to the left or right side of the reel.
This combo can be used in all kinds of situations, from easy to extreme. And if you want to challenge big fish with small equipment, this is it.
